Scripture tells us that the Mashiach cannot possibly return to earth at the start of the Millennium.

Among other names, the day of Yahshua's return is sometimes called the 'Day of YHWH.' Interestingly, Second Peter 3:10 tells us that when Yahshua returns, the heavens will (basically) explode, and the earth (and everything in it) will be burned up.

Kepha Bet (2nd Peter) 3:10
10 But the day of YHWH will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

If Yahshua were to return at the start of the Millennium, and the earth (and everything in it) is burned up, then what would be left for Yahshua to rule over for a thousand years?

Dust? Ashes?

How does one honestly explain these things?

2010: Reality Check

Protestants have long been predicting that Yahshua will return to earth at the start of the Millennium. Such dates as 1844, 1976, 1988, 1996, and 1999 have all been suggested, but have all come and gone.

The year 2000 was a critical date for Pre-Millennial Return Theory, as the year 2000 is almost universally recognized as being at least at-or-near the start of the Millennium. If Yahshua returns to earth at the start of the Millennium, many people expected Him to return back to earth then.

However, how long will it be, before people realize that Yahshua did not return to earth in the year 2000?

And, come to think of it, Yahshua did not come back to earth in physical form in 2001, 2002, 2005, or 2007 either.

And, now that Passover 2007 is over, can we please also scratch the year 2010 off of the list?

Two Witnesses

We know from the Joseph's Return study that the Two Witnesses are the Two Houses. However, Pre-Millennial Return Theory tells us that the Two Witnesses are two literal human beings.

Scripture tells us that these Two Witnesses will prophesy for forty-two months before Yahshua returns.

Gilyana (Revelation) 11:2b-3
2b "And they will tread the set-apart city underfoot for forty-two months.
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

Some book and tape merchants are now predicting that Yahshua will return at the fall festivals in the year 2010. However, for Yahshua to return for the fall festivals in the year 2010, the Two Witnesses would have had to have shown up some forty two months (i.e., three and one-half years) before.

If we do the math, three and one-half years before the fall festivals in the year 2010 is the Passover of 2007.

Did we see two literal witnesses (clothed in sackcloth) by the time of the Passover of 2007? Or did we not see the two literal witnesses at the Passover of 2007?

Hello?! Reality check!?

The Earth Will Be Burned Up

How long will it be, before Ephraim realizes the fact that Yahshua did not return to earth in the year 2000? And how can Yahshua return to earth at the beginning of the Millennium, if the heavens will explode when He arrives, and the earth (and all of the works that are in it) will be burned up?

Kepha Bet (2nd Peter) 3:10
10 But the day of YHWH will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

I submit these things for your serious consideration.

In regard to the approximate year for the Year of the Blessing, other methods would be the following.

In Genesis 15:13, God tells Abraham his offsping will be in capivity to a foreign nation for 400 years. This was Egypt. According to Exodus 12:41, the Israelites were in Egypt 430 years. The first 30 were not captivity as Joseph was ruling over Egypt. Using Joseph as a shadow of the Christ, the assumption may be made that the time Jesus was on earth (literally, God with us) would be exempted. Starting from Jesus' death near AD 30, the passage of 2,000 years arrives at approximately 2030.

Another view is to begin with the year the nation of Israel was brought back into existence, 1948, then add 50 years to the year of Jubilee, 1998. Add back the years God was with us, approximately 32 or 33. 1998 + 32 = 2030

Since the years of Jesus' birth and death are not exactly known, it is acceptable to allow 2 or 3 years either way.
